Not your normal blog!
My plan is to share my opinion on #photography and #travel, in addition to sharing some of my travel experiences. I think that travel and photography have become entwined together like a giant tumbleweed.
But really, why a blog?
I know it seems everyone and their Grandparents are #bloggers or vloggers these days, but I guess I decided to start a blog because I seem to have a lot that I want to say. So I thought to myself, why not share my thoughts with everyone who will take the time to read. I want to assure you that I’m not here to tell you how to live your life because there is no “ultimate answer” because everyone is different.
Who am I?
I am a recent graduate with my BFA in photography and an Italian Language sub-major from #uwmilwaukee. I love school and learning in general. If it weren’t for the cost of furthering my education, I would still be in school. While there I found myself torn between my favorite subjects; Science, History, Art, and Language Studies. I chose a BFA degree in photography because I am passionate about art and how it can be used different ways in everyday life.
I am a Millennial
As a quintessential Millennial, I feel #nostalgia to my core. I remember floppy discs, audio cassettes, VHS tapes, 35mm film, and dial up internet. Now at 27, I can save files, record sound, create little movies, take pictures and connect to the internet all on one piece of technology that fits in my pocket. How crazy is that? So much has changed in my short lifetime that I can barely remember what it was like to have to search a topic in a physical encyclopedia at the library rather than just asking google. More on this nostalgia at a later date!
The Nitty Gritty
My plan is to use this blog to share my opinions about photography, travel, technology and the trips I have taken. I don’t plan to bore you with technical jargon and I hope you to take something away from every post.
I hope these areas interest you and keep you coming back for more! I plan on posting once a week.
I recognize that background. It’s a beautiful place & you took amazing pictures.
